The Chinese Scholars Association – Southern California is a non-profit, non-political, and community benefit organization. It was founded in 1998 by some professors in Southern California. Its mission is to promote intellectual exchange, collaboration, and amity among Chinese scholars in the United States, China, and the rest of the world.

The Association is dedicated to the development of science, technology and higher education and enhancement of Sino-American friendship and mutual understanding.

　　本會在1998年成立。在2002年獲美國稅務局批準為IRS Code 501(C)(4)不牟利教育机耩。本會主要宗旨為：

　　（1）推動美國世界各地華裔學者的學術及友誼聯系；
　　（2）發展中美兩國的科技及高等教育；
　　（3）促進中美友誼及東西文化交流。
