CSA Donation Drive for Earthquake Relief in China

Dear colleagues and friends,

The CSA board has decided to personally deliver our first round of donation money for the China earthquake relief to the Chinese Consulate General in LA on Friday, May 23. If you would like to make your donation through CSA, you may send your check or money order to the CSA official address below, or give your check to the CSA board member on your campus as soon as possible.

Please make your check payable to "Chinese Consulate General in LA" and note “China earthquake relief from CSA member/friend”. The Consulate General will send you a receipt and a certificate of appreciation, so please make sure the name and address on your check are correct.

No amount is too big or too small.

CSA will acknowledge your contributions by creating a donors’ “hall of fame”. Your donations to date and from then on will be recognized in our website and through other communication channels.

If any CSA member has already made a donation to the China earthquake relief through any other channel, you are very welcome to notify us the amount of your donation and the name of the organization you donated to. We will gladly include your name in our donors’ hall of fame.

Furthermore, the CSA board will keep in touch with the Chinese Consulate General in LA and other reliable sources to see if there are other ways to help the people in the affected area with our expertise. Your ideas, suggestions, and involvement are greatly valued and appreciated.
